If you are interested in lobbying and advocacy:

We are recruiting lobby meeting (1) participants and (2) leaders.

We will ask meeting participants to join a brief pre-meeting to review the lobbying meeting agenda and roles.

We will ask meeting leaders to:

1. Email legislative office to set up the lobby meeting.
2. Lead the pre-meeting.
3. Send in brief notes.

**RAC-NY will provide meeting leaders with all necessary materials, including:

- List of individuals who signed up (potentially from multiple congregations)
- Template agenda and roles documents for lobby meeting
- Form to send meeting notes
- Point of contact from RAC-NY if help is needed

If you are interested in education:

We are recruiting congregational (3) outreach coordinators.

We will ask outreach coordinators to do at least one of the following:

1. Recruit congregants to join one of our upcoming RAC-NY trainings on the two bills.
2. Lead a program at your synagogue to recruit lobbying participants (we are calling these "congregational conversations").

3. Ask clergy or religious school educators to run a program for young people about the bills.

4. Share a blurb about the legislative effort in your synagogue newsletter and/or make an announcement about the effort at services.

5. Conduct one-on-one conversations with 2-3 congregants to encourage them to participate.

**RAC-NY will provide outreach coordinators with all necessary materials, including program scripts and sample blurbs.
