Grow a Good Citizen: Talking to your Kids about Voting and DemocracY

Politics can be complicated, but Jewish tradition is clear: every voice should be heard! Democracy is about more than just the presidential election: it is how we choose our future. Voting down the ballot, encouraging others to vote, advocating for voter rights, and speaking up about causes that are important to you can directly impact your family's daily life—from the bike lanes to class sizes and more!

Talking with your kids about democracy and the election process communicates your values and helps children make sense of what they may hear on TV, at school, from friends, and around the dinner table.
