Thank you for your interest in the 2019-2020 JewV’Nation Fellowship: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Leadership Cohort. We look forward to getting to know you!

Information and Instructions

Before beginning your application, read through the general information and FAQ pages. If desired, you are able to save your responses and return to the application.

If you have any questions or need accommodations please reach out to Jennifer Goldstein at jgoldstein@urj.org.

The application contains four required parts:

  • Part I: Basic information and short answers. You will be asked about your leadership experience, interest in DEI work, and why you want to be a part of the fellowship.
  • Part II: Leadership Profile. You will be asked to upload your resume, a short bio, and a photo for the URJ website in this section (we anticipate the selection process will move quickly and we want to be able to share our incredible cohort with the public as soon as possible)!
  • Part III: References. You will need to provide the names of two references who can speak to your leadership potential and your ability to work towards a goal with a team.
  • Part IV: Demographic Information. The JewV'Nation Fellowship is committed to honoring age, gender, racial, sexual orientation, ethnic/cultural, and religious/secular diversity.
  • Part V: Signature Page and Submission. You will not be able to edit your application after you submit.

Please note that there will be a brief interview with program staff to be scheduled after receiving your completed application. Due to high volume, we recommend applying before the deadline for more interview flexibility.

ALL PARTS OF THE APPLICATION ARE DUE BY 11:59 PM (PT) ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2019.

Basic Information

Preferred name. There is an opportunity to list legal name later in the application.

It is not a requirement of the JewV'Nation Fellowship to be a member of a  congregation. This question is for informational purposes only.

E.g., As a cisgender woman, I do not have to worry about whether or not there will be a bathroom anywhere I go.
